Hi, my name is Josh and I’m a drum tutor at Clive’s Music School.

I first started playing drums when I was 15. When I first started playing I’d just play on my drum kit at home along to the bands and artists that I liked. It was then that I realised my passion for music. I played my first gig when I was 18 and have been gigging ever since.

I studied at The Southampton Academy of Music and Sound where I completed an apprenticeship in performance drumming. Following this I then studied for a further three years to achieve a BA Hons Degree in Performance Music. During these years I also became the drummer in the rock band, Saints Of Sin. We’ve been lucky enough to have played on festival stages at the Isle of Wight, Teddy Rocks and the Great Dorset Steam Fair, as well as doing extensive gigging around the country. We have released three albums in total so far. As well as this I also provide session work in a local studios for other artists.

Hi, my name is Simon and I am a guitar/ vocal tutor at Clive’s Music School.

I’ve loved music from a young age, I first started playing guitar when I was 15. I studied at The Academy of Music and Sound in Southampton have a National Diploma in Music Practise.

I’m also the lead vocalist and guitarist in Circle Of Reason. We have spent the last 10 years gigging and touring.

As well as that I also have 10 years teaching experience at Clive’s Music School.

Hi, my name is Sophie and I’m a guitar tutor at Clive’s Music School.

I started learning to play guitar with Clive’s Music School back when I was 9 years old. I am currently studying a BTEC Level 3 Diploma course in Guitar performance at Bournemouth Academy of Modern Music.

Alongside this I am also in a band, we are mainly of the rock genre. At the moment we are gigging locally and we're actively writing music in preparation for our first EP!

My future aim within music is to continue teaching, and to become a session musician alongside working within the band.

Hi, my name is Louis and I’m a drum tutor at Clive’s Music School.

I've been playing drums for as long as I can remember!

Throughout school I played in a number of orchestral groups, as well as jam bands with my friends - playing with others is definitely the best way to develop as a musician.

In March 2016 I achieved Grade 8 Drums, and I would say that my biggest musical influences would be Biffy Clyro, the Foo Fighters, and the Dave Matthews Band!
